Images...

Art has so many aspects... yet when we draw a line does it have to be on paper? I find myself looking at my life as a series of "introductions" images come to me of the moments that I've found inspiration. Words escaped me at the time so I trifled with images... and my skills brought me short of the goal of "true expression."
I awoke this morning, not to a new day, but to a new life! The path before me speaks of artistic expression not on canvas or in stone but in type. As surely as a brush glides smoothly acrossed the canvas the words paint a picture in the minds of those that spend the time to read! I've been chisling away at the rough edges of an art that I didn't know I was plying. The edges are still there and some of them I'll have to have some help with carving away... but now at last I see that my words "will have worth"
It's hard to think that for so long I rebelled against what I could be... and now it all floods to the fore-front of my mind. I see flat images of beautiful art laid out on canvas, still shots of nature in it's grandeur, sculptures of hand-wrought master-work... and now I see that my medium finds it's place in the heart touched by the words I craft and re-wrought with every eye that crosses the page! I can be happy knowing that the art I ply, is a never ending work, interpretted by the eyes and hearts of all that even glance across the page!
